Gynecologic Cancer Care

The first time you hear the word cancer, you experience a paralyzing range of emotions - from anger to anxiety to fear.

Kettering Cancer Care is here to offer the reassurance and care you need to move forward with hope. Our mission is to make a positive difference in your life, treating you with a holistic approach that includes cutting-edge treatments combined with the educational, emotional and spiritual support you need to treat your body, mind and spirit. It's all part of our commitment to your health, for life.

Early Detection

When gynecologic (GYN) cancer is detected early, treatment works best. Your age and other risk factors will often determine the kinds of cancer screening tests your doctor recommends. If your doctor requests a screening, you should know this does not mean your physician thinks you have cancer. In reality, most screening tests are done when you have no symptoms at all. Kettering Cancer Care's early detection services include cervical cancer screenings, or Pap tests. We can also educate you about early warning signs and symptoms.

Diagnosis

Among the different types of GYN cancers, cervical, ovarian and endometrial cancers are the most common. At Kettering Health Network, we know there is nothing common about any GYN cancer diagnosis. From your first symptoms through your diagnosis and your unique treatment plan, we provide compassionate care to support you on your journey to recovery. For more, visit our gynecologic diagnosis page.
