Summer Teen Program
For teens looking for volunteer hours, our summer program is the perfect choice. The mission of Kettering Health’s Summer Teen Volunteer Program is to help teens develop valuable personal skills and attributes that will aid them in preparing for future jobs and real-world opportunities.
Teen Program applications are accepted between January 1 and April 15 to be considered for the upcoming summer program. The program runs from the first week of June through the first week of August.
Requirements:
- All volunteers must be 15 years of age to apply.
- A nine-week commitment of at least four hours per week is required throughout the summer.
- Teens are required to speak on their own behalf throughout the onboarding and volunteering experience.
- A volunteer uniform will be available for purchase at each campus.

- Completed application
- Background check
- Current flu shot (Not applicable for summer teen program)
- TB screening and possible additional bloodwork
