Joining the Team

By choosing to deliver your baby at a Kettering Health facility, you gain exclusive access to the Bengals Babies program.

As you prepare to leave our facility, you’ll receive a sign-up card with a unique code that allows you to register your baby for this special program. If you choose to register, you’ll join a team of parents, supporters, and care providers dedicated to you and your family.

What to Expect

When you register for the program, you’ll receive a welcome email and a Draft Kit, which includes the following:

• Kettering Health–Cincinnati Bengals co-branded sleep sack
• Monthly milestone cards for memorable photos
• Emails with baby development updates and helpful tips for moms and dads
• Helpful support resources and more

Every few months, we’ll send an email checking in and providing you with helpful resources relevant to your baby’s development. We’ll also notify you of announcements and giveaway opportunities for exclusive experiences involving the Cincinnati Bengals.

Encouraging Safe Sleep

Safe sleeping habits are crucial for your baby. Thousands of babies unexpectedly die each year in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control, with one of the main causes being accidental suffocation and strangulation.

Alongside our partners at the Cincinnati Bengals, we want to encourage safe sleeping habits for your newborn. For this reason, you will receive a sleep sack as a part of this program.

We’re in This Together

As much as this time can be exciting, we understand that parenthood comes with challenges–especially at the beginning. We’re here for you every step of the way with helpful information, classes, and inspiring stories to remind you that you’re not alone.

• Breastfeeding support: Whether you’re a first-time mom or struggling to make the process work, we provide resources to help you along your breastfeeding journey. We offer lactation consultations, breastfeeding classes, and virtual breastfeeding support.
• Breast milk dispensary: Wherever you are in your breastfeeding journey, the breast milk dispensary at the First Steps Breastfeeding Support Center, located at Kettering Health Washington Township, is available for donations or pick-ups.
• Postpartum mental health: After giving birth, it’s normal to experience new and difficult emotions. We approach postpartum depression care with compassion and respect.
• Postpartum classes: Having a newborn is such a special time, but it can be challenging on your own. We offer many classes to help your loved ones learn the best ways to support you and your baby as you navigate parenthood.
