Thank you just being available when needed. You listen to us with our problems and come up with a "fix it" solution. Along with our common interests in herbs, etc you are a great person to know.

Almost exactly one year ago, you treated me for acute appendicitis, which had gone undiagnosed - or incorrectly diagnosed - for six days. Up to that point, care givers had shrugged and said they wish they could figure out what was wrong with me. I was frustrated and scared. Once you stepped in and took over, I felt like I was in the hands of someone who actually knew what was wrong with me and had a plan for my care and recovery. What a feeling of relief! I had surgery last August and am back doing four Pilates and three Barre classes/week. Thanks for the memories and for getting me back in my feet!

You have been my primary dr for 8 yrs now. Even though I live over an hour away, the drive is worth it. When you find someone who listens and talks to you, gives you choices and genuinely takes the time to get to the bottom of whatever the issue is..... You keep them! Don't ever change Dr. Nelson, you're awesome 👏 😎 Thsnk you for being you!!!

On April 4, 2025, you inserted two drainage tubes into my abdomen to drain the "poison" that resulted from my appendix rupturing. I told you I'd been misdiagnosed with gastroenteritis. You pressed on my abdomen (and I yelped!) and told me you didn't need elaborate tests to know that I had a ruptured appendix! You were the first person who actually laid a hand on me in my six day journey to a correct diagnosis and hospitalization. I have told that story many times. Thank you for getting me ready for hospitalization, recovery and eventual surgery six months later. Your care and words meant everything to me in that moment!
