Kettering Health Maternal Fetal Medicine is home to our perinatologists physicians and advanced practice providers. This sub-specialty of obstetric care focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that occur before, during, or after pregnancy. Your OB-GYN physician may refer to a perinatologist if you have a pre-existing condition or develop a condition during pregnancy or delivery. Even if your pregnancy is normal and low risk, you may also be referred for specialized testing.
