Baby Care
Class Description +This 3-hour class focuses on the basic care of your newborn. During this interactive class, you’ll learn about the importance of bonding for your child’s brain development and how to read your baby’s cues to understand what they need.
Additional topics include:
• Bath demonstration
• Feeding and diapering tips
• Normal newborn characteristics
• Well baby/sick baby information
• Safety at home and on the go

Class Description +This 2.5 hour class led by a certified lactation consultant will help you get off to the best start by learning about:
• Prenatal preparation
• Positions for mom and baby
• Breastfeeding warning signs
• Prevention and relief of common problems
• Breastfeeding when returning to work
Class includes the expectant mother and one support person.
Childbirth Preparation
Class Description +Prepare for the upcoming birth of your baby by learning about:
• Physical and emotional changes during pregnancy
• Nutrition
• Signs and symptoms of labor
• Comfort and relaxation techniques
• Stages of labor
• Medical interventions and medications
• What to expect after delivery
Class includes the expectant mother and one support person.
Dad Class
Class Description +The in-person class will consist of 2-2 hour sessions (1 per week for 2 consecutive weeks) to help dads gain confidence and parenting skills prior to the arrival of their newborn. Topics include: The Pregnant Dad, Labor and Delivery: Partner in Birth and Parent Training Wheels, Baby Care: Going home and Getting Real, Bonding and Breastfeeding – Dads Matter!, The Postpartum Dad: He Says, She Says, Dads and Depression and the Joy of Fatherhood.
Grandparents Class
Class Description +This class focuses on current maternity practice and updates grandparents-to-be on changes in infant care and safety guidelines. Virtual live classes are available.
Infant & Child CPR
Class Description +Taught by a CPR-certified registered nurse, this one-time three-hour class covers basic CPR skills and choking prevention. Class space is limited to provide a personal learning experience. No certification is given for this course.

Infant & Child Safety
Class Description +Accidents are the leading cause of death in children, so this eClass teaches you to protect your little ones. Get information about preventing accidents, including the following:

- Emergency preparedness

Laboring Naturally
Class Description +This interactive class builds on information learned in our Childbirth Preparation Class.
Relaxation and support tactics for both partners is explored in further detail. Additional information on comfort relief measures including:
- Positioning
- Breathing
- Massage
- Alternative therapies (acupressure, visualization and mindfulness)

Preparation for Multiples
Class Description +This is an online eClass replaces the regular “Childbirth Preparation” Class for those having twins or more. This self-paced class includes information on general pregnancy related to:
- Understanding your multiple pregnancy
- Labor and delivery
- Breastfeeding more than one
- Postpartum recovery
- Life at home with multiples
Class includes the expectant mother and one support person.
Sibling Class
Class Description +This 2-3 hour online class will help you learn tactics to help your child adjust to becoming a big sister/brother and reduce jealousy with fun activities and short videos.
This eClass will cover topics like:
- We’re having a baby
- Where do babies come from?
- What do babies eat?
- Bringing home baby
- How to be a Super Sibling
