Kettering Health offers exclusive summer immersion programs, where students at the collegiate level pursuing degrees in Nursing or Business Administration can explore their career choices through hands-on experience.
Nursing Externship
The Nursing Externship program is designed for junior and senior nursing students (seniors who will complete their BSN after summer 2023).
The Externship program was designed to build a clinical foundation while inspiring student nurses to connect with the patient experience in a real-world setting. Our externs expand their clinical knowledge through full-time, one-on-one hospital experience with a nurse preceptor.
Business Internship
The Business Internship is an opportunity for Business students to apply their knowledge and skills in a health care setting.
Our paid interns gain full-time experience with a sponsor in the areas of Business, Finance, and Support Systems through project experience, shadowing opportunities, and participating in networking events.
Administrative Fellowship
Our Administrative Fellowship program prepares and equips Kettering Health with future leaders. We train through hands-on experience within various areas across the organization.
The fellow will apply knowledge and skills to solve business dilemmas and create strategic plans.
