Thank you for doing my surgery (broken hip) on the afternoon before Thanksgiving on an emergency basis. I would have had to wait for the following Monday otherwise

When my nephrologist said he was going to refer me to someone that would take great care of me; that proved to be an understatement.
Thank you Dr. Calvo and staff for the exemplary care; for being that critical instrument standing guard between cancer, treatment and myself. Thank you for welcoming and considering my input regarding my care, for making me feel like I was a part of the treatment team. Approaching near 3 years post diagnosis, with Devine intervention and my treatment team, I still have the breath of life coursing through my veins and my quality of life is better with each passing day.

I have known you for many years and I appreciate that you have always treated me with respect and dignity. Not many people treated Environmental Services that way. You heard from a third party that I was in pain while I was cleaning the OR and you found me and checked out my wrist. I needed surgery and you made it happen. Even when I was gone for 10 years, the first time you saw me in the hallway you stopped and talked to me. You have such a wonderful bedside manner and go the extra mile for not only your patients but for everyone in need. I thank you for being the exceptional Dr. that you are.

You came into our lives when we needed you the most. Chuck had just had a TIPS procedure at Kettering Medical and went home without a followup plan. Two hospitalizations later, we had both prescriptions we needed, and had signed up for Home Health Care. It was then that we found out that Chuck's family doctor was leaving for a month away, and when back would only be part-time. She told us to get another doctor and suggested that his Gastroenterologist take the primary care role for his nonalcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. The Gastroenterologist, however, had effectively dropped us after scheduling the TIPS procedure.

A family member recommend you, and you not only saw Chuck quickly, but you agreed to be his family doctor for Home Health Care. Since then you have helped us resolve a UTI, get a PICC line and fluids to support his doing the best he can with this nasty disease. And, you have answered countless questions. I cannot thank you enough for being an excellent, warm and caring physician.
