Romel Garcia-Montilla, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine, neurocritical care, and cardiovascular critical care medicine physician. He has special interests in cardiothoracic critical care, acute right ventricular failure, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.

Dr. Garcia-Montilla earned his Doctor of Medicine from the School of Medicine at the University of Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He completed his internal medicine residency and his clinical and interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Zulia as well.

Dr. Garcia-Montilla became a physician because of his early fascination with human biology and a strong desire to heal and improve lives. He is
committed to a lifelong learning process and continually seeking new knowledge and skills to better serve his patients.

In his spare time, Dr. Garcia-Montilla enjoys spending time with his family, reading books, and walking outdoors.
