About Me
Melissa Hanna, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine physician working in primary care with special interests in chronic disease management, geriatric care, and LGBTQ+ care.
Dr. Hanna earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Before her role at Kettering Health, Dr. Hanna worked as an internal medicine physician for multiple decades in Greater Dayton. She also worked at Kettering Health for nearly a decade, earlier in her career.
Dr. Hanna became a physician to be a resource for patients and families navigating complex medical conditions. She also wanted to provide a support system for patients during difficult times.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Hanna enjoys horseback riding, traveling, running, and spending time with her family. She loves living on her farm and taking care of her horses and goats.
