Kenny Moore, APRN-CNP, is a nurse practitioner.

He earned his Master of Science in nursing-family nurse practitioner from Indiana Wesleyan University. Kenny previously worked in primary care for almost a decade. Before getting his master's degree, Kenny worked as a registered nurse in the U.S. Navy Reserve for a year in the medical-surgical unit at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany.

Kenny became an advanced practice provider because he wanted to be more autonomous with the care he provides. He also enjoys combining both nursing and provider services to patients.

In his spare time, Kenny loves fishing and going for daily walks with his spouse.

This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.

A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
