Farzam Khokhar, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine hospitalist. Dr. Khokhar is particularly drawn to managing chronic issues, as he believes in the importance of offering patients not just short-term relief but also long-term solutions that improve their overall quality of life.
Dr. Khokhar earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Ziauddin University in Karachi, Pakistan. A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is a medical degree awarded by medical schools that follow the United Kingdom medical education system. The education and requirements are equal to a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) in the United States. He completed his internal medicine residency at State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
In his spare time, Dr. Khokhar enjoys exploring new restaurants and cuisines with his family. He and his family also love to travel, looking for opportunities to visit new countries and experience different cultures.
