Christin Wolfram, APRN-CNP, is a family nurse practitioner working in On-Demand Care.

Christin earned her Master of Science in nursing-nurse practitioner from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Christin worked as a registered nurse in orthopedics, urgent care, family practice, and she served in the Army as a trauma nurse for several years. She worked as a family nurse practitioner in Virginia prior to her current role.

Christin became an advanced practice provider (APP) because she has a deep passion for education. Expanding her knowledge base has empowered her to not only deliver compassionate care but also build meaningful relationships with patients. She is a believer in empowering patients with education and knowledge to make informed lifestyle changes to support long-term well-being and health.

Outside of patient care, Christin enjoys running, working out, nature, and her faith. She is married with a daughter.

This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.

What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?

A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
