About Me
Aelius Khan, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician working in primary care with special interests in wellness, preventative care, lifestyle, mental health, chronic disease management, acute care, and LGBTQ+ care.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio and his Bachelor of Science from Youngstown State University. He completed a 6-year Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine program with the two schools. Dr. Khan completed his family medicine residency at the Grand Strand Family Medicine Program in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Prior to his role, Dr. Khan worked in San Diego, California for a year full-time as a family medicine physician.
In his spare time, Dr. Khan enjoys music, traveling, beaches, and photography. He also loves cooking, writing, spending time with his family, and working out. Dr. Khan became a doctor because he feels that it is a blessing to be able to help people improve their lives and form lifelong relationships with his patients.

Care Philosophy
Practicing medicine is an art. The aim is not only to cure or manage disease but also to improve quality of life, support autonomy, and foster a sense of trust and safety. I believe that healthcare goes beyond diagnosing and treating illness—it is about seeing the person as a whole and recognizing the intricate connection between mind, body, and spirit. Healthcare providers are partners with patients to help them live their best lives with the focus on the patient as the human being in front of them. They are the reason we do what we do.
