About Me
Jonathan M. Stofer, MD, MPH, is a family medicine physician.
He earned a Master's of Public Health with a focus in Global Health from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine degree.
Dr. Stofer enjoys running, hiking, reading, spending time with family and friends, and participating in his local community.
Dr. Stofer has been heavily involved in community organizations such as the Global Health Initiative and Good Neighbor House. Dr. Stofer has a passion for refugee and underserved medicine. He is the founder/director of a medical NGO in Peru called The Rural Amazonian Health Initiative, which serves rural jungle communities with limited access to healthcare.

Dr. Stofer's focus areas include global health, travel medicine, preventative health, chronic disease management, pediatric care, reproductive health, LGBTQ+ care, and HIV prevention (PrEP).

Care Philosophy

The family medicine I've fallen in love with is filled with compassion, mutual respect, relationship building, and comprehensive healthcare delivery. Dr. S HAS BEEN THE BEST DOCTOR I have ever had. He cares about his patients. Listens. Explains everything you need to know. Explains what needs to be done and why. He works with his patients and not for just the money or title. He actually cares and it shows the way he presents himself to his patients. He also brings a great atmosphere when he enters the room.
