We offer CPR and First Aid certification, customized emergency response training, and engaging health education events—all led by experienced healthcare professionals.
Community Education and Training
Our trainings for CPR, First Aid, and emergency response planning are essential for ensuring safety, meeting workplace requirements, and preparing individuals and teams to act confidently in critical situations.
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. It’s also for anyone who wants to be prepared for any kind of emergency. After successfully completing the course, participants will receive a course completion card that’s valid for two years.

Coaches Education and Training
This two-hour training, required for coaches, provides lifesaving information related to CPR. Adult and child modules, along with AED training, are included. After successfully completing the course, participants will receive a course completion card that’s valid for two years.

For the Ohio Department of Education Pupil Activity Permit requirements, we offer First Aid for Coaches as well as the American Heart Association’s First Aid training. After successfully completing the course, participants will receive a course completion card that’s valid for two years.

College students looking to meet their college or university requirements can participate in our internships and clinical rotations, which are offered in various settings, such as:

Our student educational opportunities are designed to introduce students to exercise science and athletic training, while exposing them to aspects of sports medicine. We offer a half-day spring seminar and a four-day summer camp, both of which include lectures and hands-on practical sessions taught by staff members, such as athletic trainers, physical therapists, and other local sports medicine professionals.
Public Speaking and Health Fairs
Our experienced team of athletic trainers, physical therapists, nutritionists, and exercise physiologists can present on a wide variety of sports medicine topics, from eating healthy on a budget to injury prevention. We also engage with communities by having interactive tables at health fairs for all ages, covering topics like knowing and improving your balance to Stop the Bleed training.
