Your evaluation will begin with an initial consultation and review of your imaging results, symptoms, and medical history. Based on those results, we may recommend additional testing, which can be scheduled at your convenience. These may include
- Cerebral angiography: A catheter and contrast dye are used to image the brain’s blood vessels via X-ray.
- CT scan / CT angiogram (CTA): Detailed imaging to locate brain aneurysms and detect rupture or leakage.
- MRI / Magnetic resonance angiography (MRA): Uses magnetic fields and contrast dye to visualize blood vessels and brain tissue.
- Echocardiogram: Evaluates heart structure and function using sound waves.
- Arteriogram (angiogram): X-ray of blood vessels using contrast dye to detect brain aneurysms or blockages.
- Ultrasound: Uses sound waves to assess blood flow and view internal organs.
Once we have reviewed your results, we will collaborate with you to develop a care plan and discuss your treatment options.
