About
Located right off I-75 just outside of downtown Dayton, our emergency department provides high-quality care for all types of emergencies, from major accidents to minor injuries.
Level III Trauma Care
We are designated as a Level III Trauma Center through the American College of Surgeons and are covered 24 hours by emergency medicine physicians, with general surgeons and anesthesiologists available to serve at a moment’s notice.
Primary Stroke Center
The emergency center at Kettering Health Dayton is certified as a Primary Stroke Center by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), providing expert stroke care with specialized teams trained on how to stabilize, treat, and manage stroke patients.
NOTE: Emergency center wait time represents the average time it takes from check-in until the patient sees a provider, based on the last hour’s wait times and current conditions. Patients are prioritized according to severity of injuries, and the number of patients may affect actual wait times.
If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 immediately, or get to your closest emergency center.
