Kettering Health Main Campus has been named as one of the nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals® according to an independent quality analysis published by Modern Healthcare, a leading source of healthcare business and policy news, research, and information. To create the rankings, an objective, quantitative analysis of publicly available data was conducted to identify the top cardiovascular hospitals in the United States. Compared to peer hospitals, those in the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals delivered better results across 21 quality metrics, including clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and patient experience.
Recent achievements
The designation is the latest in a series of clinical excellence and patient-care achievements Kettering Health has earned over the past year as the system advances initiatives to strengthen its culture of patient safety at every level of care. Recent recognitions include “A” safety ratings from the Leapfrog Group, The U.S. News Best Hospitals for Maternity Care, and the Press Ganey Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Award.

The 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals study is based on quantitative research that uses a balanced scorecard approach provided by Premier, Inc., and presented by Modern Healthcare based on publicly available data to identify the top cardiovascular hospitals in the U.S.
