Kettering Health’s internet outage has been resolved.
MyChart and phone systems are fully functional and all Kettering Health emergency departments are off diversion and accepting all patients.
All scheduled appointments and procedures will go forward as scheduled. Please call your doctor or practice if you have questions about your care.
Confirmed Internal IT Issue, Not a Cyber Attack – September 9th, 12:40 p.m.
As shared this morning, Kettering Health is experiencing an internet outage.
We can confirm that this does not stem from a cyber-attack from an external party or threat actor.
This event is related to an internal network issue that we have identified the cause of and are working to remedy.
We will continue to provide updates on this situation.
Internal Internal Outage – September 9th, 9:50 a.m.
Around 7:35 a.m., Kettering Health experienced an internet outage.
At this time, we believe this is an internal IT issue.
We are utilizing our typical downtime procedures, and our phone systems are currently operational. However, many applications we rely on for internet access are currently not available, including MyChart.
Emergency Departments currently on diversion for stroke care at the following facilities:
- Kettering Health Hamilton
- Kettering Health Greene Memorial
- Kettering Health Huber
- Kettering Health Middletown
- Kettering Health Preble
- Kettering Health Springfield
- Kettering Health Franklin
