Each appointment lasts approximately 20 minutes and includes the following:
- Lipid Panel Screening is done by fingerstick:
- Includes total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and blood glucose. A 12-hour fast is recommended for most accurate results. Results are available within 7 minutes.
- The Hemoglobin A1c test:
- This test is a marker for diabetes and prediabetes, providing an estimated average blood sugar for a 2–3-month period. T
- Blood pressure screening
- Height, Weight, BMI, and Waist Circumference
All results are reviewed with a Registered Nurse, and educational materials relevant to each individual are provided.
