This presentation will explore the often-overlooked role of Lipoprotein (a), or Lp (a), in cardiovascular health. Attendees will learn what Lp (a) is, how it differs from traditional cholesterol markers, and why elevated levels can pose a significant risk to heart health. Dr. Thakur Amrit, Cardiologist, will discuss the genetic basis of Lp (a) and review available options for monitoring and managing this hidden risk.
