- Kettering Health Years Ahead - Dayton
Age-related eye diseases like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataracts can cause vision loss and other visual distortions over time. These low vision problems can cause falls, medication errors, and difficulty reading and understanding medical instructions. Vision screenings are helpful for identifying those at risk and referring them for clinical evaluation and treatment. NeuroRehab and Balance Center occupational therapists can complete a vision screening and provide education on how to compensate for vision loss.
Date: Tuesday, August 1, 2-4 p.m.
