Join us for a 60-minute interactive educational class led by a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This six-week series is designed for anyone with concerns about brain health or cognitive thinking skills. Participates will gain valuable information about how the brain works and learns practical strategies to help keep the mind sharp in daily life. The SLP will provide tools, techniques and lifestyle tips to support optimal brain function. Topics will include but are not limited to: Normal vs abnormal brain aging, mild cognitive impairment (MCI) dementia, key-areas of cognition, including memory, and brain-healthy habits. Each session will include cognitive exercises, and participant will receive helpful handouts and resources to support continued learning at home. Walk-ins are not accepted.
