Trisha Kall, APRN-FNP, is a hospitalist, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician specially trained in the care of hospitalized patients.
A hospitalist works with your primary care physician to provide you with the highest level of care while you are in the hospital. During your stay, you may meet one or more of our Kettering Health Medical Group Hospital Medicine Team as they provide you with exceptional, around-the-clock specialized care.
Hospitalists do not accept appointments-they provide specialized care for those inpatients within a hospital or medical center.
What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?
A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. They hold a master's or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
Hospitalists do not accept appointments—they provide specialized care for those who are inpatients within a hospital or medical center.
