Travis Wheeler, MD, graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and went on to complete his residency in Family Medicine with Wright State University.
Dr. Wheeler sees patients from young children to geriatrics. He believes everyone should have access to compassionate, welcoming, and affirming care. Dr. Wheeler's focus areas include preventative care, chronic disease management, mental healthcare, and HIV Prevention (PrEP).
Patient care is not the only way Dr. Wheeler serves others. He regularly volunteers with Matthew 25 Ministries and is an active member of Saint Anne Episcopal Church where he serves as co-leader of their LGBTQ+ Ministry.
Outside of work, Dr. Wheeler enjoys photography and spending time with his husband and their dogs; together they enjoy kayaking, traveling, and all things Disney.
I am committed to working alongside my patients to ensure they receive compassionate, affirming, evidence-based, patient-oriented healthcare.
