Scarlett Sarbaugh, APRN-CNP, is a nurse practitioner working in heart and vascular with special interests in cardiothoracic surgery, chronic disease management, and cardiovascular wellness of patients of all ages.
She earned her Master of Science in nursing-nurse practitioner and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Scarlett has experience in several clinical rotations, including cardiovascular intensive care, acute care surgery and level one trauma, neurosurgery, and neurocritical intensive care. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Scarlett worked for a few years as a registered nurse.
Scarlett chose to become an advanced practice provider because she felt called to become a nurse practitioner to help and to advocate for patients in a greater way.
Outside of patient care, Scarlett enjoys hiking, being outdoors, singing, and cooking. She also loves traveling to new places and spending time with her family.
This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.
