About Me
Michelle Barrord, MD, is a radiation oncologist.
In 2016, she earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and then completed her residency at the University of Cincinnati. She is part of a professional development team that mentors students pursuing careers in radiation oncology. Michelle volunteered at the Access Women's Shelter where she educated women on healthy eating habits. Dr. Barrord has numerous publications in the peer-reviewed literature and presents regularly at international meetings.
In 2020, her work was awarded Best of ASTRO (American Society of Radiation Oncology). She is an active member of the Society for Women in Radiation Oncology and the American Society for Radiation Oncology.
Outside of work, Dr. Barrord has competed in over 10 styles of ballroom dance during undergraduate and medical school and still enjoys dancing.
