About Me
Michaela Fritson, PA-C, is a physician assistant who specializes in benign and malignant hematology and medical oncology.
She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the Physician Assistant program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Michaela completed several clinical rotations in multiple service areas, including oncology and hematology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Michaela chose to become a physician assistant after being cared for by an exceptional advanced practice provider during her childhood. That experience left an impression and inspired her to pursue a career where she could make the same kind of impact. She's always valued the collaborative, team-based approach to medicine that a physician assistant role embodies, allowing for close partnerships with both patients and the other providers. The ability to combine medical knowledge with meaningful patient relationships makes her feel the physician assistant profession is incredibly rewarding.
In her spare time, Michaela enjoys reading, practicing her French language skills, listening to music, and cooking with her spouse. She also loves traveling to new places.
