Dr. Asumen earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University California. She served in a family medicine residency at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Asumen showed GREAT concern for my questions & worries. Dr.Asumen explained my problems/diagnoses in a very professional manner & in terminology I could comprehend. Dr. Asumen elicited great effort to Include me in decision making regarding my care. She provided the medical knowledge to give me the tools I needed to improve my health. 11 months ago I was utilizing a rollator to walk. I was severely depressed, had no energy, was having panic attacks because I couldn't breath upon exerting myself & unbeknownst to me I had Microcytic Anemia & was deficient in many vitamins my body needs. Dr. Asumen ordered the testing I required to receive my diagnosis. I have lost approximately 15 pounds In 11 months & just currently began using Silver Sneakers to Improve my health. Dr. Asumen has provided the tools I need to Improve my health & has helped me to understand that Including more plants Into my diet Is to my benefit. Dr. Asumen has literally CHANGED my life for the better. I am a work in progress. I feel very blessed to have her as my PCP. She TRULY cares for me as a patient. I've never had a physician like her. She is a true asset to Kettering Health Network! & ALL of her patients. If there was a Physicians Award for being a TOP Doctor SHE deserves It! Dr. Asumen discussed my proposed treatment plan Including the options, risks, benefits, etc. Dr. Asumen was friendly, courteous, professional & ALWAYS putting my needs first. She has a great personality & I trust her with my life. I have told EVERYONE about Dr. Asumen & have recommended her to everyone I know!
