Linda Vaders, APRN-CNP, is a nurse practitioner working in cancer care with special interests in diagnosis, treatment, patient education, symptom management, and survivorship.

She earned her Master of Science in nursing-adult nurse practitioner from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Linda earned her Master of Science in oncology nursing-clinical nurse specialist and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Mercy College in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. She has had many years of experience as a clinical nurse specialist and as a nurse practitioner in oncology.

Linda became a nurse practitioner because she has developed a deep passion for being there for her patients during some of the hardest moments of their lives. She also finds meaning in educating patients about their diagnosis, their treatment options, and the side effects they might face. Becoming a nurse practitioner has given her the chance to refine her skills and expand how she can help her patients. In her spare time, Linda enjoys listening to music, catching a local theater production, or soaking up the sun at the beach. She also loves to travel, get creative with Legos, and quilt. A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training.
