About Me
Karen Starrett, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who has cared for children in the Dayton area since 1997.
Dr. Starrett earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed her pediatric residency with the Wright State University School of Medicine at Dayton Children's Medical Center.
When she isn't caring for her patients, she enjoys gardening, hosting, and volunteering at various children's ministries within her church. She is married with three adult children. She has completed numerous medical mission trips to Africa.

Care Philosophy
I understand just how precious each child is to his or her parents and strive to provide each child with individualized attention. My goal is to advise parents through the adventures of parenthood while guiding my patients through their journey from infancy to adulthood. The goal of every pediatric practice is to provide high-quality, family-centered care to newborn through young-adult patients, focusing on the prevention of disease, promotion of healthy lifestyles, and ease of access.
