About Me
Juan Linares, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. Dr. Linares has several interests including cardiogenic shock, durable mechanical circulatory assist devices, invasive and non-invasive cardiac diagnostics, endomyocardial biopsies, and cardiopulmonary exercise stress testing.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Montemorelos in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Dr. Linares completed his internal medicine residency at Kettering Health Main Campus in 2020. Dr. Linares completed training in nuclear cardiology in 2023 and in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology in 2024 at Loma Linda University in California. He also completed his cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Kettering Health Main Campus in 2023.
In his spare time, Dr. Linares enjoys indoor and outdoor cycling, hiking, and nature walks with his family and friends.
