John Wade, Psy.D., is a psychologist working in bariatric surgery with special interests in weight management and pain management.
John earned his Master of Clinical Psychology from Xavier University and his Doctor of Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology at Adler University in Chicago, Illinois.
Outside of patient care, John enjoys running, strength training, tennis, and golf. He is also a fan of DIY home improvement projects.

Care Philosophy
Identifying a problem does not solve it. Sometimes we know what to do but still struggle to take the necessary growth steps. My goal in working with patients is to reframe the potentially overwhelming issue into something more manageable and work on the next best step to take.
