Jinesh Patel, PA-C, is a physician assistant working in our On-Demand Care clinics. His areas of interest are nutrition and wellness.

He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Dayton. He went on to earn a Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg, a professional doctorate for physician assistants. Prior to this role, Jinesh worked as the lead APP in an urgent care.

His decision to become a physician assistant was largely driven by the values instilled in him by his faith and family. Jinesh wanted to be a part of a profession focused on helping others and giving patients the happiest, healthiest lives. He believes that it is truly a gift to be able to help care for patients in their most vulnerable times.

In his spare time, Jinesh enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors with his spouse. He speaks Hindi and Gujarati.

What is a Certified Physician Assistant?

A physician assistant (PA) is a licensed healthcare provider who holds a master’s or doctoral degree and has advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
