Jessica Karp, DO, URPS, FACOOG, FACOG, is a gynecologist specializing in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from North Georgia College and State University, her interest in women's health issues led her to urogynecology. Dr. Karp attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia Campus. After graduation, she completed her OB-GYN residency in New Jersey and a three-year urogynecology/female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Inspira Health Network in New Jersey.
Dr. Karp is a senior member and fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Urogynecologic Society, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. As a national faculty member of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, Dr. Karp writes and reviews board exam questions where she was named the 2019 COMAT Item Writer of the Year. Dr. Karp has accepted multiple invitations to speak at national conferences on Urogynecologic topics. She has also been involved in medical education as a clinical faculty member for the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Karp enjoys spending time with her husband, stepdaughter, identical twin daughters, and puppy. She also gets joy from playing tennis, exercising, traveling, and spending time at the beach and in the snowy mountains of Montana.
