About Me
Emma Boyd, PA-C, is a physician assistant working in heart and vascular with special interests in chronic disease, cardiovascular disease, and prevention.
She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Mount St. Joseph University. Emma completed her cardiothoracic surgery clinical rotation at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky.
Emma wanted to become an advanced practice provider because she is dedicated to the process of caring for patients — the recovery, the healing, and the human connection. She enjoys being in the inpatient setting, when patients wake up, when families breathe again, and when progress happens inch by inch. Emma feels that it is a privilege to care for people during some of the hardest days of their lives and to be a steady presence as they find their way back to strength.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys weightlifting, baking, hiking, and hanging out with her two miniature goldendoodles.
This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.

Care Philosophy
I believe healing happens not just through procedures, but through presence — by showing up, listening closely, and walking with patients through the hardest parts of recovery.
