About Me
Dara Regn, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. She has special interests in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) management, and non-invasive mechanical ventilations.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. Dr. Regn completed her internal medicine residency at the Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. She also completed her critical care fellowship at the Brooke Army Medical Center.
Dr. Regn became a physician because she was drawn to the practice of medicine, particularly to academic medicine, from a young age. She wants to treat patients and teach students and residents who are the future of the practice of medicine. Dr. Regn was also interested in clinical research and advancing medical knowledge and the treatment of patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Regn enjoys trail running, volunteering, playing guitar, and co-leading her daughter's Girl Scout troop.

Care Philosophy
As a physician and Air Force Veteran I have come to realize my philosophy of care has essentially been the Air Force core values. In treating patients in the intensive care unit, I have found service before self, putting patient care first and advocating for the highest standards of care, maintaining integrity with communication and accountability with patients and the care team, are all critical aspects of the often-complex multidisciplinary care necessary.
