About Me
Danielle Thomas, APRN-CNP, is a nurse practitioner specializing in cardiothoracic surgery with special interests in critical care and acute care.
She earned her Master of Science in nursing-nurse practitioner and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Danielle completed clinical rotations in several areas, including a cardiothoracic care rotation that she completed at Kettering Health Main Campus. She also previously worked as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit and in cardiothoracic care.
Danielle became an advanced practice provider because she wanted to make a deeper impact on patients' lives through advanced care, clinical expertise, and compassionate connection. After years of working as a critical care nurse, she realized how much she values not just treating illnesses, but helping patients truly understand their health and participate in their own healing. Becoming a nurse practitioner allowed Danielle to combine her passion for hands-on care with the ability to diagnose, prescribe, and manage treatment plans.
In her spare time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and reading psychological thriller books.
This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.

Care Philosophy
My philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, respect, and a commitment to holistic, patient-centered practice. I believe every patient deserves to be seen, heard, and treated as a whole person — body, mind, and spirit, not just as a set of symptoms.
