Chris Wharton, PA-C, is a primary care physician assistant specializing in family medicine. He has special interests in chronic disease management, acute care, preventative medicine, and mental health.
He earned his Master of Science-Physician Assistant Studies from Marietta College. Before coming to Kettering Health, he worked in Springfield in Internal Medicine as a physician assistant.
Chris enjoys playing disc golf, gardening, and watching sci-fi and fantasy movies. He loves to spend his free time with his family.
What is a Certified Physician Assistant?
A physician assistant (PA) is a licensed healthcare provider who holds a master’s or doctoral degree and has advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
