About Me
Beth Shutte, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician working in primary care with special interests in prevention, wellness, chronic disease management, and mental health.
Dr. Shutte earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. She completed her family medicine residency at Miami Valley Hospital/Berry Family Health Center. Dr. Shutte previously worked at Kettering Health in outpatient care. Prior to her role with Kettering Health, Dr. Shutte worked at the University of Dayton Student Health Center as a staff physician.
Dr. Shutte chose to become a physician because she loves working with people and helping them become their best version of themselves. She has always been amazed by the human body and the practice of medicine and wanted to make that her life's work. She also feels that preventive medicine is key, and that helping people work through their challenges and manage their chronic illnesses is such a rewarding experience.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Shutte enjoys spending time with her family, going to her kids' sporting events, jogging, and reading.
