Amy Knotts, APRN-CNP, is a certified family nurse practitioner committed to quality care and positive patient outcomes. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University-Idaho, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Ball State University.
When she is not working closely with patients, she can be found listening to audiobooks or on the soccer field with her husband and kids. She also enjoys participating at her local church and is grateful to be able to serve in her community.
What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?
A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. They hold a master's or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.

I show my commitment to positive patient outcomes by cultivating a relationship with them so that together a plan can be put into action that allows the patient to live a healthier life.
