Alyssa Wetzel, APRN-CNP, is a certified nurse practitioner who is dedicated to providing her patients with the highest quality of care.
She earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, graduating summa cum laude for both degrees. She has been a nurse since 2015 with experience in various specialties.
When she's not caring for her patients, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family, supporting the Bengals during football season, riding her bike, doing yoga, and spending time outdoors.
What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?
A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
