Michael Gentry
Chief Executive Officer
Michael Gentry oversees Kettering Health as its chief executive officer (CEO). Michael joined Kettering Health in 2023, coming from Sentara Healthcare in Norfolk, Virginia, where he served as the chief operating officer (COO). In his role as COO, he led a team that accomplished top-decile clinical, operational, and financial performance. Before joining Sentara, he served as the president/CEO of AdventHealth’s Memorial System. He is a passionate advocate for finding innovative ways to prevent disease and promotes a “whole person” view of health. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Southern Adventist University and his Master of Business Administration from La Sierra University.
Ron Connovich
President | Kettering Health Medical Group
Ron Connovich serves as president of Kettering Health Medical Group. He previously held the positions of president at Kettering Health Hamilton, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer for Kettering Health Greene Memorial and Soin Medical Center, respectively. Ron received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii – West Oahu and his Master of Business Administration from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
Eric Crouch
Chief Information Officer
Eric Crouch serves as the chief information officer (CIO) for Kettering Health. He oversees the strategic planning, implementation, and management of information technology and digital transformation initiatives. Eric joined Kettering Health in 2015 with information technology experience spanning multiple industries, including automotive retail systems, electronic publishing, and merchant payment processing. He focuses on leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery quality, safety, and efficiency and enhance the patient experience. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Factors Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from Wright State University.
Joseph Feller
Vice President | Legal Services
Joe Feller serves as VP of Legal Services for Kettering Health. He is chief legal counsel, overseeing all legal matters. Before joining Kettering Health, he served as an assistant county prosecutor for Montgomery County and was a partner with the Dayton law firm of Bieser, Greer, & Landis for over a decade. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton.
Brooke Harris
Chief Human Resources Officer
Brooke Harris collaborates with our executive leaders and HR team to create strategies that support employee engagement and retention, the Leadership Institute, recruitment, and overall workforce development. Brooke has served as one of our human resources directors, primarily supporting our Kettering Health Main Campus, Miamisburg, and Troy facilities. Before joining Kettering Health, she held multiple HR leadership roles at organizations including the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Veterans Affairs.
Indu Rao, MD
Interm Chief Medical Officer | Kettering Health Main Campus
Indu Rao, MD, serves as interim chief medical officer (CMO) for Kettering Health. At Kettering Health Main Campus, she previously held roles as the chair of utilization review, chair of credentials, chair of internal medicine, and chief of staff. In addition to her leadership roles, Indu’s professional life is defined by 30 years of clinical experience and teaching. Indu earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology as well as her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Zambia. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and completed her postgraduate studies in OB-GYN. She completed her internal medicine residency at Kettering Health Main Campus as well as her fellowship in Women’s Health.
Tim Ko
Chief Financial Officer
Tim Ko serves as the chief financial officer (CFO) for Kettering Health. Previously, he served as the CFO and COO of Kettering Health Medical Group and in multiple hospital finance roles. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Pacific Union College and his Master of Business Administration from Rollins College Crummer School of Business.
Jimmy Phillips
Chief Strategy Officer
Jimmy Phillips serves as chief strategy officer for Kettering Health, overseeing strategic planning, business development, marketing and communications, outreach, community benefit, and government relations. Jimmy joined Kettering Health in 2019 from Adventist Health where he served as the regional marketing director for Southern California. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Union College and his Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.
Jennifer Shull
Chief Nursing Officer
Jen Shull serves as chief nursing officer (CNO) for Kettering Health. Jen joined Kettering Health in 2017 as CNO and vice president of Patient Care for Kettering Health Hamilton. Before Kettering Health, Jen served over a decade as a chief nursing officer at Advent Health in Florida. Jen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Adventist University and her Master of Health Care Management from Webster University. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northern Kentucky University.
Daniel Wolcott
President of Acute Care
Daniel Wolcott serves as president of acute care for Kettering Health, overseeing all of our inpatient medical centers and service lines. In addition, he oversees nursing, supply chain, security, and transportation. Daniel joined Kettering Health from Adventist Health’s Kern County Network in Central California, where he oversaw strategy, operations, and performance of multiple hospitals. Throughout his career, his facilities have earned many recognitions, including one of “America’s Safest Hospitals” by AARP magazine, LeapFrog recognition as a Top Rural Hospital in America, and achieving top quartile scores in physician and staff engagement.

Nate Brandstater, PhD
President | Kettering College
Nate Brandstater serves as president of Kettering College. Under Nate’s leadership, Kettering College launched its first doctoral program, with additional graduate programs under development. Nate has also strengthened the partnership between Kettering College and Kettering Health, delivering value for students and health facilities through strategic job development and placements.
Michael Brendel
President | Kettering Health Dayton and Kettering Health Troy
Mike Brendel serves as president of Kettering Health Dayton and Kettering Health Troy. Mike has held multiple roles in the organization, including vice president of Kettering Health Main Campuses’ clinical services and, most recently, serving as vice president of patient care services at Kettering Health Miamisburg. He began his career as a radiology technician and became a registered nurse. He holds a Master of Healthcare Leadership from Parkville University in Missouri.
Sharlet Briggs, PhD
President | Kettering Health Main Campus
Sharlet Briggs oversees the operations of Kettering Health’s Brain and Spine, Heart and Vascular, and Oncology services lines. She also serves as president of Kettering Health Main Campus. Sharlet joined Kettering Health in 2021 as Kettering Health Main Campuses’ chief operating officer, enhancing the medical center’s operational efficiency and building strong relationships throughout the facility and system. Sharlet spent most of her career with Adventist Health, most recently serving as president of Adventist Health Bakersfield.
Paul Hoover
President | Kettering Health Hamilton
Paul Hoover serves as president of Kettering Health Hamilton. Paul began his career with Kettering Health as the director of business development for Kettering Health Main Campus and Miamisburg. Most recently, he held the role of senior vice president and chief strategy officer for Kettering Health. Paul received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Adventist University and his Master of Business Administration from Webster University. He is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives.
Erica Schneider
President | Kettering Health Miamisburg and Kettering Health Washington Township
Erica serves as president for Kettering Health Miamisburg and Kettering Health Washington Township. Erica has more than 20 years in nursing leadership, serving as chief nursing officer for Kettering Health Greene Memorial and Soin Medical Center, and many years with AdventHealth in Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science from AdventHealth University and a dual Master of Business Administration and Master of Nursing from Southern Adventist University.
Norman Spence
President | Kettering Health Troy
Norman Spence serves as president of Kettering Health Troy. He has held multiple roles in over a decade at Kettering Health—most recently serving as facility administrator and director of Strategy and Operations for Kettering Health Middletown and Kettering Health Franklin. Norman attended Andrews University, where he earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s in Business Administration.
Daniel Tryon
President | Kettering Health Greene Memorial and Soin Medical Center
Daniel serves as president of Soin Medical Center and Kettering Health Greene Memorial. He previously held the positions of president of Kettering Health Washington Township, executive director of Kettering Health Middletown, and director of business development and cardiovascular services for Kettering Health Dayton and Washington Township, respectively. He attended Andrews University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as his Master of Business Administration.
