About Me
Lori Washing, APRN-CNP, has been a nurse since 2005. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and went on to Wright State University for her Master's in Acute Care Nurse Practice. Lori's area of focus is in vascular and wound care.
During her career, Lori has been nominated for the Cameo of Caring award twice and won the Daisy Award in 2017.
Lori is a self-proclaimed "karaoke superstar" and is always ready to hit the stage.
What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?
A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
