Charles Uhl, APRN-CNP, is a primary care nurse practitioner specializing in adult-gerontology primary care. Charles Joseph "Joey" Uhl has special interests in diabetes care, heart health, wellness and preventative care, and geriatric care.
He earned his Master of Science in Nursing-Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati and has previous experience in healthcare as a nurse and nurse practitioner.
In his spare time, Joey enjoys visiting new places with his family, hiking at metro parks, and cheering for the Dayton Dragons.

A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
