Krista Miller, APRN-CNP, is a primary care nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine. She has special interests in chronic and acute care management, preventative wellness, as well as helping patients make lifestyle changes as part of a holistic way to manage conditions.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati.
In her spare time, Krista enjoys spending time with her family and going to school and sport events for her children. She also loves being outdoors, hiking, and traveling.
What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?
A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
