About Me
Rachel June, MD, is board certified in geriatric medicine and specializes in dementia care, geriatric syndromes, chronic disease management, and advanced care planning for patients 65 years of age and older. She has a genuine passion for not only caring for her patients but also establishing a healthy, open relationship with them.
Dr. June attended the University of Dayton and received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Education is a focus for Dr. June with both her patients and her colleagues. She has received multiple awards for teaching and her outstanding performance as a physician. Dr. June's work extends beyond her office: In the community, she works with various organizations that help plan for the safety and well-being of others during the pandemic and walking for different health causes since 2014 has been a way for her to show support for them. Older adults have played an impactful role in Dr. June's life; she has done peer-reviewed presentations on common conditions in older adults and the introduction of Medicare wellness visits to a residency office.
During her off-hours, she enjoys spending time with her family. When they get the opportunity, they also travel and take in unique experiences wherever they go.
