Amazing job super nice and always kept us laughing
Tylar
(I don’t know)
I really appreciate how much care Tylar took during my recent delivery. She helped explain everything to me and even waited to each lunch so she could stay with me until I delivered. I was incredibly nervous and scared and she made it a much more enjoyable experience. Thank you!
I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her last name. I delivered on 27 September.

Tong
Mrs. Tong was so helpful on Sunday Oct 5th as another trip for me to the ER. I had slit my arm and did not want the numbing shots for stitches. The Dr. and the front nurse said that's all they have i said i do not want the shots. Nurse Tong was the only one who offered a gel to numb the area and a bag of ice before the actual shots. You see i have been in there twice before for a leg laceration and a head wound that needed staples. The numbing shots hurt worse than the injury. But thanks to nurse Tong she saved the day!! I appreciate her looking out for me the patient and recognizing my issue. This woman deserves a raise and for all nurses up and coming to be trained by her for her sympathy and understanding the needs of all patients!! Thank you Nurse Tong!!!

I just want to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible care you provided during my dad’s ER visit. Your excellent communication, deep knowledge, and genuine compassion made such a difference during a stressful time. You treated us like family, and it showed in every interaction. Thank you for being such an amazing nurse — your kindness and professionalism truly stand out.
Stacy
I'm not sure
Stacy was the mammogram tech who completed my mammogram. Because of my family history, mammograms are extremely important to my personal health, but also very nerve-wracking. Stacy was thorough and comforting. I felt very lucky to be under her care, and even though I've been getting mammograms for years, she made the whole process less scary. Thank you Stacy!
Dr. Megan
McCord
Dr. McCord took time to truly listen to my concerns. Previously, I have been brushed off by numerous ER doctors; however, Dr. McCord demonstrated the highest level of empathy and professionalism by active listening to assess the issues, validating my frustrations/concerns, and providing a solid treatment plan going forward until I can access appropriate outpatient care. She truly is one of the best ER doctors I’ve met in a minute.
Thank you again Dr. McCord! I appreciate you more than you know!
Beth
Notsure
Beth worked the trauma floor on 10/20 and came in on 10/21 to cover for a co-worker. Reva Bidwell fell and Was supported by Beth those last couple of days. She was thoughtful, explained things and showed tru care and compassion as we watched Reva pass. She picked the right profession and we were thankful for her care those couple of days!
Mia

Mia W was a nurse aide on 10/21 days trauma unit when Reva Bidwell passed away. While Reva didn’t need Mia’s services that day, she checked several times to see what she could do to assist or bathe her. When Reva passed, Mia and a co- worker bought a yellow carnation from the gift shop and gave that to our family w a hug and shared a picture of the rainbow that had been in the sky as well as her cultural beliefs. A hug and thoughtfulness from the heart! Not expected. She will be a great nurse
Amber
Not sure, L&D floor
Amber, my husband and I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for me and our baby. Thank you for advocating for us, for protecting my baby when we weren't there, for answering all of our questions. You came in and checked on me when I was readmitted for preeclampsia even though you weren’t my designated nurse. You made our stay at the hospital, knowing you were there made me feel safer knowing that you always had an eye on my baby. It felt like I have known you forever, and I will never forget you. Whenever I tell my birth story, I always talk about you. Thank you so much, for everything!
Thomas
?
I want to thank Thomas for making our visit at the ER so comfortable! My daughter never does good being seen and he made her smile and laugh! He made testing fun! He was the most caring nurse and made sure my daughter wasn’t miserable while she was sick! You rock!! Keep on being the fun nurse always!!
Shauna
Burd
I just wanted to say thank you so much for making a sad situation more comforting. You definitely had a way of calming my nerves throughout the whole process. My husband also said your sweetness and calm demeanor helped calm him too. You’re an angel in your position! Also, my husband and I have had your starry/apple juice/ cranberry juice drink every day since, we’re hooked! Thank you again !

Taliah
(Nursing student)
Thank you, Taliah! Even though you are a student still and learning your care, patience, information and overall amazing attitude was very refreshing! Thank you for helping my father in his recovery and being so friendly! Keeping the patients busy and showing interest in them and their progress and story is a great nursing attribute. You will do amazing things as a nurse!
Tari
Unknown
I want to thank Tari for her compassionate care and patience as my post surgical nurse. She was completely attentive to me, anticipated needs, and was the most thorough for instructions reviewing with me and with my caregiver. Even though I felt like a bother, she always responded and acted that she wanted to help and care for me. Thank you Tari for your compassionate care!
Kristen
Unknown
Kristen was the first nurse I came in contact with when I came in for my c section on 11/05. From the second I met her until we said goodbye in our recovery room she was absolutely fantastic. She was so easy to talk to and helped me out so much when I was feeling nauseous and overheating. She was with me in the OR when I was given my spinal and the fact that she got on the bed with me, was holding me telling me I got this, your so strong, completely amazed me. It was nice to have someone rooting me on and being so supportive when my husband wasn’t yet in the room. We were so completely impressed by her hospitality. The world needs more people like her. Thank you again Kristen for all of your help and your positivity, keep doing what you are doing!
Brittany
Eaton
Brittany Eaton was my husband’s nurse during a difficult admission to IMC for neutropenic fever related to his chemo treatment. She was amazing! Over two shifts, she spent many, many hours in his room, took extra care with multiple transfusions to avoid adverse reactions, saved his PICC line and juggled multiple specialty consults for a wide variety of issues that cropped up during his admission. We never once pressed the call button because she was so vigilant in checking on him and she stayed late on a Friday evening to get a prescription in place for the night before she left. Brittany deserves recognition for going above and beyond to take care of a very complex patient and we wish we could do more than recommend her for this award!
Ashley
Rector
We want to thank Ashley for the excellent care she provided during my husband’s admission to IMC. He was very sick when he arrived on her floor and she spent an enormous amount of time ensuring that he safely received a blood transfusion under difficult circumstances. She was an effective advocate for her patient’s safety and was extraordinarily compassionate throughout her shift. We hope she will be recognized for her outstanding care!
Janice
Moore
Thank you for your care. I appreciate you listening to me and placing my IV in a more comfortable spot. Plus you made it my choice if I wanted lidocaine for the IV placement. You are a professional and appreciated.
Beth, Jodi, Anna, Kaylee
RN
Beth was very kind and passionate during my pre-op admission, Beth went above and beyond to explain everything to me and to make sure I understood my procedure and took the time to make sure I was comfortable before my surgery.
Jodi, Anna, and Kaylee all took wonderful care of me during recovery. All three nurses were patient and kind and went above and beyond to help with my post op pain and nausea as well as keeping me informed throughout the while process and making sure I had everything I needed to have a successful discharge. All of these nurses deserve a daisy award!
Whitney
Lewis
I was induced on 12/1 and during my 45 hour delivery process I had Whitney as my night shift nurse on my second night there. This is the night they did Pitocin, broke my water, I got the epidural (which didn’t work in the beginning) and the painful, endurance part of labor really began. Whitney was incredibly kind, attentive, and educated my husband and I well when titrating my meds or watching the fetal monitor, all while being so compassionate. I know from experience how draining and monotonous the nursing field can be, and I genuinely appreciate the care I received..the type of compassion that most nurses lose a few years into bedside. Very thankful for her ability to reduce stress or worries with it being my first baby!
Michelle
Unknown
Michelle on the 2nd floor intensive care unit was so kind and personable. She was very helpful and checked in on me multiple times. She was very attentive and ensured I was heard when I wasn’t feeling the best. I only had her for a few hours on discharge day but every moment matters when you’re away from family.
KHN Middletown ED
Front desk
I came in on 12/28/2025 around 6pm to be with my mom who was brought in by transport. When i arrived at the front desk, the guy working at the desk to check patients in was amazing! He went out of his way to talk to me while i was waiting to go back and be with my mother, which meant a lot.. but even more than that, he came back to the room before his shift ended to make sure i did not need anything before he left. I work in healthcare and this is the kind of care I want for patients we see. He did not have to go out of his way to check on me again.. what he did was the true definition of compassion in healthcare. I am sure it was a small act of kindness for him, but to me, it made all of the difference in the world. We need more people like him working in healthcare.
Cori
Unknown
Cori went above and beyond to make sure I felt loved and cared for. She was with me the night my newborn got admitted to the NICU unexpectedly, and she listened and comforted me while I cried. I have never felt more loved and understood by a nurse before. She seriously deserves the world and all the recognition possible.
Roy

Kaitlyn & Jordyn
Beechler & Unknown
I visited Kettering Main L&D triage on 12/29. I had a previous visit but was completely blown off by the other nurses and sent home without speaking to anyone. On the visit on 12/29, Kaitlyn Beechler was my nurse and actually took the time to talk to me, explain expectations and go through my results. She took my symptoms seriously and advocated for me where I had previously been completely ignored. She was a great nurse and I’m lucky to have gotten the opportunity to have her as mine for a brief time.
When the decision was made for me to deliver early, Jordyn, came in and was there for me until I was moved to my post partum room. I had a rough time in the OR and she helped me through the entire thing. From the beginning when it felt like everything was getting very rushed, she did her best to keep me calm and not feel any anxiety about the situation.
On a night where there was a line of C-sections, these two listened, advocated, and helped me feel like I wasn’t just another delivery, but that they genuinely cared about me and my baby. I was extremely disappointed I didn’t get the opportunity to deliver at Soin again, but I am very thankful for these two who helped me at my visit to Kettering Main.
