Kettering Health is making key leadership transitions to ensure that the organization is well positioned for the future.
Rick Dodds has been named vice president of New Market Strategies. In this role, Rick will work to identify new expansion and partnership opportunities and coordinate our efforts with key community stakeholders, including elected officials, care providers, and business leaders. Rick most recently served as president of Soin Medical Center and Greene Memorial Hospital, where he worked to enhance network alignment, improve operations, and establish these facilities as stalwarts in their respective communities.
Josefer Montes has been selected as the new president of Soin and Greene. Josefer came to Kettering Health as the academic dean at Kettering College before moving to the network as vice president of Marketing and Communications as well as chief inclusion officer in 2018. In each of these roles, Josefer demonstrated a strong acumen for business growth, community-mindedness, and an unwavering commitment to the network’s mission.
Jimmy Phillips has been promoted to vice president of Marketing and Communications. In his role as director in the department, Jimmy led multiple key initiatives, leading communications efforts during COVID-19 and, most recently, facilitating the implementation of the system’s recently announced brand refresh.
“As an organization, we are committed to providing care that helps our communities be their best,” said Fred Manchur, CEO of Kettering Health. “These leadership transitions position us to continue both providing the high-quality care people expect from Kettering Health and expanding our mission to new communities throughout our region.”
